Still Life -Fruit
The early days of the pandemic happened to coincide with my return to oil painting after working in pastel for almost twenty years. Knowing I wanted to continue with still life, I began working small with a single object and its setting. I turned to fruit and textiles, readily available when so much was closed. I focused on the interaction of colors and a simple form in relation to a more complex fabric ground.
