The Rosa Rugosa is a tough and wild shrub, but it yields some surprises. Although the flowers are not as showy as other rose varieties, the flowers rich pink color and scent are wonderful. Also not to be missed are the rose hips. These form from the spent flowers and can be used to make rose hip tea.
